First Chiropractic Visit
Thank you for choosing Sippl Chiropractic & Nutrition in Wausau.
Your initial office visit includes patient history and symptoms, a chiropractic exam, and diagnostic testing if needed. In preparation for your consultation, we ask that you fill out forms to give us background information about your condition. Your medical history, including any pre-existing conditions and current treatments by other health professionals, helps us perform a thorough chiropractic assessment.
The chiropractic exam includes general tests, such as blood pressure, pulse, and reflexes. Dr. Sippl may also assess the range of motion of the affected area, muscle strength, and neurological health.
Based on your history and chiropractic exam results, diagnostic studies such as X-rays may be used to identify structural abnormalities. Dr. Sippl will establish a diagnosis and carefully explain your treatment options.
This is generally how chiropractic care works at your first visit, which can last about 45 minutes.
We want you to feel your best and will do what it takes to improve your well-being. Our clinic's philosophy is one of prevention. Although most clients seek our care for pain relief, we continuously stress prevention. Improved posture, ergonomics, proper nutrition, exercise, and spinal maintenance are the keys to spinal stability and overall health.
